A laminar flow hood is a vertical single-phase laminar flow, purification equipment that provides a localised Class 100 dust-free and sterile environment. Laminar flow hoods provide unidirectional airflow filtered by high efficiency filters to provide ISO5 clean air quality for aseptic preparation. Laminar flow hoods are widely used in pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food and other industries that require a clean environment to ensure production quality. Laminar flow hoods can create Class A areas in Class B or C clean environments, which is more flexible, faster and less costly than building a Class A cleanroom directly.
 

Horizontal centrifugal fan draws in the external air through the primary filter, the pre-filtered air passes through the air treatment unit (static pressure box), and after passing through the high-efficiency filter at a certain air speed, it enters into the even flow layer, so that the clean air is in a vertical unidirectional flow, which ensures that the working area achieves the high degree of cleanliness required by the process. The pre-treated air is then passed through the high-efficiency filter for secondary filtration, which can play the role of fully protecting the high-efficiency filter.
